So I finally decided to make cake pops for the first time. After the 3 day process of

-baking the cake

-cooling the crumbled cake over night (resulting in me coming home drunk thursday night and eating a mug full with almond milk: why am I so gross?)

-mixing in the icing and cooling it over night : resulting in Claire and I eating spoonfulls: why are we so awesome?

-molding them into balls saturday morning and cooling them off.

-Disasterous chocolate coating situations

-Half of them falling over in my car

-Me slamming my hand into one (of the good ones) and breaking it off the stick

-Finally, half of them falling off the sticks on the way to the party

The end result however was everyone telling me they were delicious and them being gone by the end of the night, and me not forgetting to take my new flower pot home. I think I will save making these for the winter and focus more on taste, rather than aesthetics which always gets me into trouble.
